SAN is bulk-copolymerized
by SM and AN, which has greater characteristics in transparence, tensile
strength, and hardness.
SAN can be compounded with ABS base powder into various grades of
ABS resins. It is also used for the case of cassettes,
battery, and disposable
lighters. Furthermore, to increase its dimensional stability,
flexural strength, and tensile strength, SAN can be compounded with
glass fibers for the use of blades
for electric fans and air
conditioner parts.
